Anyone else suddenly realise how noisy their neighbourhood is when it gets hot at night ? I didn't realise how much noise our neighbours actually make until I was sleeping with the windows open. Who washes up singing noisily at 2am ? That's really annoying !

My son when he was a little boy would take a cold hot water bottle to bed, to keep him cool!!
