Re: Growing Old!

Hi Wrinkly,
This sounds so much like me.
I'm sorry to say, it's nice to know I'm not alone. LOL

Jimmy, you should have asked him.

Many years ago - oh blimey - I was about 18, and I was walking to an area called Spring View where my friend lived. I was going over a place called Rose Bridge when a young lady stopped me for a chat. She knew me, but for the life of me I couldn't think who she was, and I've never recalled her since.

I don't know about de ja vu, but I've said this before on here. It's important to write down as much of your life as you can remember just in the rare instance that this happens.

I've said somewhere else in here, that I've written part of my life story down from as far back as I can remember when I was a child, if only to pass those times on to the younger element of your family so that they'll know how life was for you back then.

One might as well be dead as suffer from any form of dementia. My mother's dementia is getting worse, hopefully she will die sooner rather than later.

It's one of the things that scares me as well Wrinkley, but I think just from your sense of humour and reading your posts you and (hopefully) I are alright for quite a bit longer yet

UJ, whatever your feelings are for Mrs Thatcher, I think that was a cruel remark considering the lady is suffering with dementia at this present time.

Re: Growing Old!

My mother died from Alzheimers, it's a terrible thing for the whole Family to go through, a very very sad way for a person to end their years.
