I watched a program where two groups of people were blindfolded, one group were sat in direct sunlight, the other under a large parasol, but, both groups were told they were sitting in direct sunlight.When questioned, obviously the group in the direct sunlight as expected said, they could feel the burning rays of the sun on their exposed skin, but, surprisingly, the other group in the shade, expressed the same sensation.
This experiment went on to be known as the "Gazebo Effect".

This became known as the 'Peabo effect'
