It was bought privately.
it appears he didn't transfer ownership or DVLA havent received it or updated their files.

In the meantime im car less until I can prove it is mine and that im not liable.

Sorry to hear what a mess but your in the Building game as I was and I had some very handy lads worked for me if you get my drift
