Re: for wishbone (another mini train)
Guess so WB. This is the more serious stuff
Nikon d800 with battery pack mounted on a manfrotto 055XPROB tripod with a Manfrotto MVH502AH fluid head ( head alone about £130 without tripod)
Nikon D300 with battery pack fitted with a BL3 end for EN-ELA batteries- sitting on a velbon C-400 tripod with a Velbon fluid PH-248 head.
Trouble is I can't use them all at once and trying to pick a lens for a particular purpose can be a problem.
For example do I use a 50mm f1.4 nikon lens or an AFs 24-70mm. Or a 70-300mm lens on the D300 which is a crop sensor or the 80-400 lens on the FF camera. Then again do I use a fluid head or a 3 way pan and tilt or a pistol grip head
Then a couple of small compact cameras and a couple of old cameras and 35 mm movie cameras
Several lenses the last bought was the Nikon AFs 70-400mm lens at around £1800. Just one of 7 or 8 lenses .
My son and I built a computer designed for photographic work mainly which took about 3 months to hand pick the best componants within budget. Then IPS dell monitor far better than say a CN monitor.
