I was very tempted to put on the CH yesterday as the temperature here has dropped to 20C. But I did put a blanket over the duvet last night. Today its slightly warmer but still chilly for this time of year.

I keep very early hours,got up this morning and turned the thermostat up-yum a hot bath with warm towels. DOH-change the timer you eejit it does not kick in until 07.30 not 06.00hrs

I'll put the heating on this evening. It's not cold, but I've fitted some new radiators and I want to check the plumbing.

We have lit the fire a couple of evenings when it was really wet and miserable outside.

We are still having to put fans or air con on at night here, no doubt it will be towards the end of October when we stop using them.

I have all my windows open today, it's a beautiful day. Our August has not been very hot as it has been in other years. We don't use heat till sometime in November.

These last few nights I've been snuggled up in my fleecy onesie....not putting CH on till it's really cold.
