We usually put our decorations up about 10 days before Christmas. Our tree and decorations are in the loft which neither of us is able to access this year so our SIL will get them down for us.We have received 5 cards so far so it's beginning to look a bit Christmassy already

I'll need to get some Christmas spirit. I'll maybe buy a small tree. I find it difficult at the moment because of the upheaval in here, with getting gas piped in and heating put in the flats. The place is a bombsite. But I WILL get some Christmas spirit if it kills me

I can't be bothered with decorations/tree these days and Christmas cards just sit in a pile on the sideboard until they can be recycled
. I'm the same Myrtle. Sometimes life changes and you can't be bothered any more. You've more to think about.
