Re: The Bucket list
Before my other half died we were visiting places - not to far from home - but places I'd never been to and wanted to see, such as Clitheroe and other Lancashire towns. Doesn't sound too exciting, but the places we went to are steeped in history.
We had planned to go on a choo-choo train (steam) which runs in East Lancashire, throughout the countryside, but never got the chance. I'd love to go on a steam train again.
I don't want to go bungee jumping or para-gliding or do any dare-devil stuff, but just a few trips out on a Sunday afternoon would be nice for me, and perhaps calling for tea on the way home.
I have a car and I can drive, but I'm not a driver, if you understand the difference. I wouldn't jump in my car and go out of my comfort zone on my own - which isn't very far at all.
