We went to our daughter's house this evening as they had intended to have a few fireworks and sparklers for the children. It had been non stop drizzle all day so we donned our outdoor coats and waterproofs to go into the garden to watch S-I-L's display. We hadn't been outdoors more than 5 minutes when the heavens opened and the drizzle turned into a deluge!
So it was back indoors soaking wet, having seen just two fireworks and with two very unhappy grandchildren!
Poor kiddies couldn't understand why the fireworks wouldn't light in the rain!The thought was there!
