Sometimes I feel ashamed of the things I read here.

It seems that some people are quite happy for young thugs to steal cars, drive dangerously and kill innocent people.

Be fair ... if they are reckless enough to do what they did .. they pay the consequences. Would it have been different if they'd mown down some innocent pedestrians, as was originally thought?

Rather instead .. what sometimes sickens me about people's capacity for empathy or sympathy is when I read in the news about onlookers who cheer, take selfies and shout encouragement to someone threatening suicide. It's not unheard of now. One such guy jumped. Some of the crowd laughed. And videos of it appeared online.
