On the other hand, there is only so long that I can sit on my backside watching tennis without getting restless, so some shorter matches wouldn't go amiss...

I agree with you Ania, Federer has had a couple of tough matches this week but he still remains the true gentleman of sport. I do wonder now if he'll think of hanging up his racket in the very near future .... like you I too will miss him on the courts.
It's a strange Wimbledon this year, Nadal not fit, Djokovic out, now Federer out ..... Murray will never get a better chance than this of lifting the Cup on Sunday in the final
