Re: House on market and its gone mad

Our old friends bungalow went on the market, friday before last and the first couple to view put an offer in, which was accepted.
So I'm not too surprised ... pleased for you, though.
I hope it is a smooth transition, selling and then buying your new place. A very exciting time for you

Re: House on market and its gone mad

As I work mon - thur and don't get home until 7pm I didn't really want any viewings until Friday. However one couple who are going on holiday for 10 days on Thursday asked for an earlier view as they are concerned they may lose out so they are the first at 7.30 tomorrow evening and I would think they wil make a quick decision one way or the other before they go away. Then I have the bulk of the viewings on Friday with one on Saturday as things stand at the moment.

I hope you will receive an acceptable offer.

Down our way several people nearby have sold their houses after holding an 'Open Day'

Re: House on market and its gone mad

I hope it works out for you.

Things are a bit different here because you can't make an offer unless you've got finance in place. If the offer is accepted, that forms a contract, so you can't just pull out.

Things are slow at the minute, but seem to be starting to move.

Re: House on market and its gone mad

15 viewings and counting

My poor dogs are going to suffer I think as time for walkies is going to be limited but if it sells it will be well worth it.

It all kicks off this evening

Val, were you not advised to have the dogs 'baby sat' for the viewings?
Our friends estate agent advised to put the cat in a basket
Good luck for this evening
