I have my grandfather's black slate mantel clock that was presented to him by Members of the Viennese Orchestra Xmas 1910. It still works but has lost its chime.

I'm still using the pyrex mixing bowl and pyrex rolling pin that was a wedding present 42 years ago

Probably not but it's hard to get the parts now

My `Robo Chef` food processor `died` about two years ago after years of service. It was very sad as when it was first advertised I could not afford one ,it was like losing something special-something that defined my escape from poverty.

The only thing I have is not an appliance, but my book of scraps. Wouldn't part with them.

My wife is past retiring age and still going strong after 42 years of marriage, which is saying a lot more than modern youth

I haven't got any large equipment but I still have my first record
player I bought in 1969. It does the long player as well as the 78's
and 45's.
I also have a transistor radio which
I won on the seaside bingo at Skegness in about 1987 but all
the rest of the large kitchen things get rebought every few years
as they certainly don't seem to last as long as mentioned

My old fridge uses 208 Watts.
My new fridge uses 80 Watts.
The old one is now just a standby.
