Lanolin comes from wool I don't think it would hurt vegetarians, I have seen vegetarians wearing woolly jumpers.

BTW that 250ml jar contains about the amount of lanolin obtained from the wool of about one merino sheep (as I understand it)

I know but many vegetarians don't use products gleaned from animals, the way many are kept puts us off. Personally I like bamboo or hemp products rather than wool. I knit with acrylic yarns.

I've been using Skin Therapy Q10 hand and nail cream, can't remember where I bought it,might have been Lidl's.
Years ago my Mother used Creamolia(?spelling)it made her hands lovely and soft, don't know if it's still around.

Or, if you want to pay the same for less; lanolin cream, again as cheap as.

We have recently returned from Australia after an eight week visit.
I didn't take my usual body lotion and bought a large tub of Johnsons Sorbolene. It's the best body lotion that I have ever used. I have tried to source it here but with no luck.

Just seen it on Amazon - not Johnsons though - £42.87 ! Plus postage ! For a jar !
If its an aqueous cream, they are much cheaper and readily available ,,,,,

The one that I bought was more a lotion than a cream. It was a huge bottle and cost €5. I certainly won't be paying that price, Patsy. I would rather shrivel up

This is the one Patsy. It's 750mls. And it cost $5. I think I put €'s in my last post

Re: Hand Creams .....

Anyone tried Moroccan Argan Oil. I find it is very good for hands (in fact everywhere) and it has no perfume. You can buy it as a cream and it's not greasy. I got a big tub of it from Poundland for £1.00. It is similar in texture to aqueous cream (which is also good) but I find the argan cream better and it suits my skin. At £1.00 you can afford to put it on all over your body.
