Vera.

Any one been watching Vera on Sunday nights.Sure they could get it over in one hour.I think I watch it in case it gets more lively as the time goes by and also because its filmed up here. She (Vera) has done well with the accent I think. Annie.

Re: Vera.

I confess I haven't given it a go yet ... doubtless they'll repeat it.

I'm still wading through the Midsomer Murder repeats every afternoon ... and it's testimony to my degenerating memory recall and dwindling brain cells that I still can't remember the plots!

Yes I have been watching Vera, although it's a bit long at two hours I enjoy it. The scenery is wonderful. I missed the second episode and can't seem to find the time to catch up with that one.

Yes, I have the same problem - though I still enjoy watching them again and again.

Re: Vera.

I have not seen episode 4 yet but will watch it via download.

As it is suposidly the last in series presumaly the back ground stories will become clear Vera's Dad and his house also her sidekick issue.

I cannot work out what her style is, it is a cross between Columbo, Ashes to Ashes and Morse, to me, cannot put a finger on it.

Re: Vera.

You are right Manxman, I think she has watched them all and stirred them together. Shame really as she has done some good things. My favourite is Lewis.

I got the same problem Morticia, but I don't mind in the least. This weekend ITV3 are having an Agatha Christie weekend and although I've seen them all before I can never remember who done it, so old age has some advantages because I can enjoy them all over again... and again... and again.
