Did you ask to see my garden some time ago?

When we moved house last November, this was our garden:-

then out came the paint pot:-

now if you look closely you will see £1 shop solar lights:-

but yesterday one was not hanging but wedged on the roof, so I replaced it, then it happened again today, but a different light.

My theory is that a jackdaw was attracted early morning and removed it. I have now replaced the cup hooks and the lights cannot be moved. Only time will tell.

I actually have about 15 genuine french net floats, not these thin cheap shop ones. When I was a lad down in cornwall they used to drift in on the tide and I went along the high water mark and rocks to get them. Some still in the original net rope bags

If you click on the middle picture to enlarge, you will see on the trellis, lots of debris gathered from the beach. Just off left, is a pile of stuff not yet used. I have eleven floats/fenders either found by me or bought from car boot sales found by others. My red shed houses boxes of shells/pebbles with holes/ driftwood that I use to make mobiles and either sell to shops or give to friends.

Hanging on the palm tree are coconuts (from Sainsbury's) just for fun.

That is really nice , a small rowing boat would look good filled with plants ..
That would finish the look off ..

Re: Did you ask to see my garden some time ago?

Thanks. You wouldn't believe it but every day, I look on Gumtree, local paper, ebay and pre-loved to see if anyone is giving away a non sea worthy rowing boat to use for plants.

Yes, although they're not out yet, I do have buckets/spades.
Because there is a big'ish job to be done, I haven't finished on side, but in the fulness of time, they will be out. In fact I think today might be a garden day.
