I left at 17. Mother and I did not see eye to eye. Was a very lonely time when I look back now. But that's what happens when you have a stubborn streak like me.

I got married at 18 & left home at 20 when I was pregnant with our Son - stayed with my Mum up til then as OH was in RN & away for months at a time.

You never leave home. Home is where you live. You might move out from your parent's house but home is where you live Not where your parent's live.

I never left home - parents died and then my older brother - so I am still in the same flat I came out here with my parents and brother!!

Left home at 23 and got married. Left Chicago to Ohio and have been there ever since.
