Just had home made sweet potato and squash soup with garlic chillies and fennel, lovely and warming but now I'm starving chicken liver curry and rice next I think or breaded chix livers with mash, cauli and a few sprouts left. Think I'll go for that.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Yesterday my son had a meeting in Cardiff so he took me with and dropped me off in town, had a wander around the shops/market and we eventually met up for dinner at Yo Sushi, always fun, delicious food especially the Miso soup, which I love and which they repeatedly fill for free. We took a friend of his who is one of these poor souls who live on their nerves and who is afraid of just about everything unfamiliar, currently he is convinced he has IBS and assorted intolerances, however he sat amazed as all these little bowls sailed past, and he eventually tried several, he too loved the Miso and the green tea (both of which are supposed to be good for you).

While in the market I bought a selection of root veggies and three small lamb shoulder steaks, which have just converted into a big pot of stew which is even now bubbling away and giving off amazing aromas. Later will add some lentils, pearl barley, and big suet dumplings. Mouth watering at the very thought.

Made a Pot of Mince for Tonight with Mashed Potatoes. No Doubt the Laird will dive into one of the Tubs of Ice Cream for Afters.
