Very sad to hear about Eileen. I didnt know her well but i've followed the thread about her & know she will be sadly missed

I think everybody who got to know Eileen knew what a kind and gentle lady she was and, at 81, fiercely maintained her independence.

Having no family of her own, I'm sure she felt that her friends on here (and Catsey) became her family, and I saw her as a sort of matriarch with whom you could go to for advice, or a kind word.

In the short time I got to know her I can honestly say that I thought the world of her and was always delighted when I saw her name online.

I'll miss ya lass, and you certainly won't be forgotten. xxx

That you touched mine right from the start

Right from the very begining Eileen
You showed that you really cared

I know that you will be missed very much by me
And you will be missed by others so they tell
