Re: Mawdlin' monday

Morning Christian and all,

Its damp and gloomy here, I have a trip to B&Q this morning (15% off today according to the TV) so I am armed with a long list! I am also looking for a picture frame for a print that I have had since the 80's, I don't believe in rushing things!

I will be walking the dogs this afternoon and if I have any energy left I will be back to the DIY.

Have a good day everyone!

Just reporting in - I'll be back later.
It's a bit gloomy here, and trying to drizzle. Never mind.
Have the best day you can

Re: Mawdlin' monday

Poor Merlin Moli - I'll look around to find details and send my best wishes for his full recovery. You'll be glad you're home soon and I'm sure it will perk him up. Was it Merlin had the abcess? Edit Yes - I've looked elsewhere to check. Have they thought of tick-borne disease? I hate the things. My b-i-l's mother died in her fifties from complications from a tick bite

Much nicer day here now - sunshine and warmth. We'll make the most of it before the forecast heavy rain tomorrow

Re: Mawdlin' monday

He has been blood tested DM, and no there is not tick borne disease, or Fiv etc... ...Just a bad reaction to a weasel bite a few weeks, back...The swelling went down on his face, but for some reason he had this reaction, which attacked is immune system...I have not spoken to my son yet today, but things looked so much better yesterday...Thank goodness I am going home on Wednesday...

Yes, thank goodness. The immune system is prone to go a bit crazy isn't it. Hope you'll find him thriving - steroids are just amazing in how quickly they make a difference

Re: Mawdlin' monday

Back down to earth today after a lovely weekend, my son went home this morning so it's a tidy up day for me.

Cloudy and cool here after earlier rain and the forecast is no better for the rest of the week.

Just a reminder folks ............... Clocks go back one hour this weekend.....

and .......... it's less than 10 weeks to Christmas!

Hope everyone is having a good day!
