Musical moments of the past

My grandfather, William (1876 - 1967) who was a Music Teacher, with his band in his earlier days before he was married .........he is on the left and his future wife,my grandmother, is in the centre of the photo...

Loved the pics! Funny how a trait can seem to skip a generation like that.

About the hair: did they have hair stylists way back then? I just assumed ladies did their own, or if they had one, their maid would arrange it for them....
