Videos of Scotland

Loch Lubnaig, you'll probably recognise Ben Ledi from my photographs.

Ben Ledi, this says so much more than a photo can, . . really beautiful country, . . the wind's blowing as usual.
It's not difficult to climb, there's well worn paths all the way to the top.

From the top the view must be magnificent. When I win the lottery.

Re: Videos of Scotland

The guy that took this video did'nt make it to the summit, you can see the summit in the last few seconds of the clip.

I had the same misfortune last year, I got to where this guy got to and had to abandon the climb because of mist, the mountain's 3,000 feet high with steep gullies, if it's misty at the summit it's so easy to walk right off a sheer drop.

Re: Videos of Scotland

That really sounds like a dangerous but beautiful climb. The land looks alot like Ireland but a bit nicer even.

Re: Videos of Scotland

I missed this thread, Denis, Ben Ledi and surrounding scenery is really beautiful, I was there in the summer.

Those are lovely video clips - I couldn't even walk up part way of a hill, never mind a mountain! No head for heights!

Many thanks for sharing

Take care.
