A Trip to Weight Watchers this pm!

But not for me - oh no! Foxy, my terrier dog, has been on a diet for 1 month, and has ended up the same weight she was when we started! I took her to vets to weigh her this morning, went mad when I saw the weight , and the receptionist told me they were just starting a weight watchers club. So I signed Foxy up, and we went this afternoon for her first weigh in and information. She has to go back in 2 weeks time. I've been informed that I will be pleasantly surprised if I stick to the food and the amount they have prescribed.

I await being pleasantly surprised!

What a way to spend an afternoon!

I hope it works out well.
I'm sure Foxy will feel better if she loses the weight she needs to shed.
Is she on a special food or just less food?

She has to go on Royal Canin Satiate, 143 g per day.

I believe this is for very greedy dogs, and fills them up without putting weight on. A bit like eating sawdust probably, but that won't put Foxy off, 'cos she will eat anything!

What a Wonderfulidea, I have never heard of that here Wanda. They say it is much harder to get weight off dogs than humans. I wish you well with it and do keep us up to date on your weigh in and such. Is it a prescription food that they prescribed the amount to give?

Does Foxy like carrot Wanda? My dog does.
A whole or grated carrot will help her feel full and might be more tasty than the special food! I suppose too much carrot would be calorific though. as they are quite sweet?

We posted at the same time so I see what food she will be on. Crystal loved food too.

Well, here's the before Doggy Weight Watchers;

She is not obese, but rather heavy for a little dog - 14.9 kilos - and she should only be 12.6 kilos.

Never had a fat dog before!
