Crabs fart
It's true, just watched a skipper on one of the crab boats off the north Alaskan coast sniffing the air, he said "I look for little bubbles on the water if it's calm, they're little farters you know".I sat there fascinated, he said "we'll be back later after we've shot the traps", sure enough, later on his traps were full, the crew all had screwed up faces as they tried to hold their breath when hauling aboard, . . I thought rotties stank too.

Just watched cap'n Phil on the Cornelia Marie, (he's the sniffer), . . another boat played a dirty trick by tying a scrap pick-up truck to one of his traps earlier, the winch was straining as they hauled the thing up, he said "what the #*^* is that", then broke down laughing.
