I've had a few emails from Ann (Pixie) tonight and, as the time approaches for her operation, from what she's said, she's very nervous.

This is not about me, but having known her for so long, I am also genuinely concerned about her.

We had a really good chat on the phone last night and there are so many things she will have to learn to do to help her recovery.

She is in the hands of one of the top five surgeons in Canada and they'll be doing a secondary operation whilst she's in theatre. This is something she would have had to have done at some point anyway, so they're doing both at the same time so she won't have to be opened up again.

I don't do praying as it would be against what I believe, but I beg any of you that do, to pray for the success of this operation for our dear friend.
