DVD's from Tesco's

They're really cheap just now, priced from £3 upwards, I got Oliver and Goldfinger for 3 quid each yesterday, they also have a set of 3 of John Wayne or £5.

Amazon and Play.com are also cheap and have a very wide range to choose from.

Same thing happened with videos when DVD came out. Now everyone's getting Blu Ray players DVD's are dirt cheap. (I hate watching DVD's now, quality is so rubbish compared to BRs).

They're a bit like DVD's but much better quality: High Definition

Do you have a HDTV Val? If so you'll be able to see the benefits of Blu Ray on it

no we don't, we bought our tele years ago, we keep thinking about updating it but as its working okay and it will mean getting a new everything, stand etc, because I like the flat screens that is all we're doing, thinking about it, we will have to change it eventually when they switch us over to digital or whatever it is so we keep hanging on.

Well I aint 16 any more and my eyes aint what they used to be, .. I'll stay with the old DVD's.

...that's more the reason to get HDTV - so there's more information there for your eyes to pic up.

Val - I'd go for it! My mum and dad love HDTV, they always comment on how good the picture is
