About a year ago, I got a call from my bank..I refused to answer any questions and went to the bank in person. I am very careful where I use my card and get cash back from the bigger grocery stores, so that I don't use the ATM machines.Re: 4 risky places to swipe your debit card
I've recently had 2 suspicious emails. One supposedly from the cable company said I needed to click on a web link and verify my personal info to "keep the account active" and the other was asking me to click to verify a purchase using a debit card from a bank I've never dealt with.Re: 4 risky places to swipe your debit card
People have to be so careful these days. I never get spam on my home computer, but I do get junk email at work.Re: 4 risky places to swipe your debit card
Not just if you don't know the sender, though. I had two suspicious emails two days ago from a friend. Obviously not genuine because the subject was "see this" with no text only advice to click to see a photo. Which I didn't, but sent them both to spam. She had a hotmail account which had been hacked, so just a word of warning if anyone else experiences the same.Re: 4 risky places to swipe your debit card
