Yes, it is a fern and you've managed to capture all the detail perfectly.

Yes , Mags ," questions , questions " , how sad they cause you to roll your eyes ............ I was under the impression that`s what makes Forums and other forms of online sociial interaction , tick !

If my questions bother you so much , then please fell free to ignore them , it certainly wont make me feel any less of you

My point was that your post inferred that all Brits call Ferns , " Thingymebob `s " and I couldnt allow you to speak on my behalf as I found that sweeping statement / generalisation to be ridiculous and wrong .

ROFL

Oh Ladies please dont misunderstand me here , I too use those words ( thingymebob , thingamejig and hewjamafloppy etc , when I dont know , or forget the name of something ) but with all due respect thats NOT what Mags said !

Allow me to quote .............

We would call that a Thingymebob over here, Bob

Mags implied that over here thats what we call Ferns !

Maybe if Mags had worded her sentence differently then the confusion would not have arisen

Perhaps she could have said " we say thingamybob instead of thingy over here Bob . "

I`m sure you can see that her use of the word THAT in her sentence led to confusion , and as my siggy says .................................

Stop trying to act the school ma'am Topaz, you knew full well what I meant, you just have a nasty habit of picking people up on things and you have done that several times to others on this forum.
