Re: Yet another 'con' trick

The 'nasty party' is yet again mired in sleaze and financial irregularities over last year's General Election expenses!!!

They are but I always think of tories as having enough why do they need to cheat us all and take from us when they have enough to live on, I know they are not only rich politicians but in my mind they are better off than most.

Only Tories? It's a bit of a simplistic, primary school level linear view.

Well that may be so but coming from a labour family we saw the Tory candidate as very much the rich family.

I see what you mean ... except ... the Labour party have long since ceased to be the 'working man's party' or even represent the working man.
Times have changed. They're all now a big ungodly glot of the self same mob.

You have a good point and are likely right, wish it wasn't so though as the masses are not being represented properly IMO.

Re: Yet another 'con' trick

Hi

It would appear that Electoral Expenses are not solely a matter for the Labour Party.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...tion-expenses/

Could well be a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

My view is quite simple, if neither Party is capable of managing their own Election Funding why on earth should we think that they capable of managing the UK?

I don't stick up for the Tories. I'm a floating voter.
They're all as bad as each other.
Cameron is pretty much a waste of space and out of touch with the people ..
So was Blair .. so was Brown.
They don't go into politics because they're altruistic and bent on changing the country for the better.
