Re: What do you remember???

I miss the little Blue Bags in Smith's crisps - the Blue flat packets aren't the same. I also remember getting excited if you got more than one bag in a packet. Also the Beechnut chewing gum machines that gave a free extra packet on the fourth go. Another crisp product I miss is Burton's Potato Puffs - I loved them................Oh dear showing my age now! x

Re: What do you remember???

Hi Cookiecat,
I remember them as 'Lucky Bags' and often used to get a boy's one instead of a girl's which upset me greatly. I'm 55 years young with 6 grandchildren who keep me on the ball. Wonder if they will remember confectionary and items from these times so fondly? x

Re: What do you remember???

My own children who are now in their forties remember spangles and Curley Wurleys their granddad used to buy them one each for going to the shop for him to buy his cigarettes, wow that wouldn't happen anymore thank goodness.

Lucky Bags and jubleys are all fond memories. What will they remember in the future probably blue smarties.
