Don't worry Steve, if your son lives in your area, house price inflation is running at about 12% PA, so after the first year he could be £16k better off, on paper anyway.

Actually a lot more than that for a house of that price...

We're South of Milton Keynes but they're in North Devon Spitty, in a small town with not a lot there, shops in particular but finding a job doesn't look easy either.

Our youngest is in IT so he's quite lucky as IT was never that good in North Devon in the past but as he worked for a small company at first he became known in the area.

It is picking up in the area now and of course there's not enough engineers now so his prospects are looking pretty good.

Our grandson though may have problems as he has Aspergers Syndrome and ADHD.

That's our only worry though and maybe he'll get lucky. stevmk2
