Tony & I have been invited to attend our surgery to have a vaccination against shingles.
I tend to think 'Oh not another bl**dy vaccination'
Undecided what to do...
Are you for or or against?
If you had seen an older person (our age group) suffer with a dose of shingles, you'd be off straight away to get the shot.
We had ours some years back as soon as it was offered 👍
All I can say is, I've never had that vaccine, but there are plenty who have.
Not much help really, we just have to do what we feel is right for us, not others.
Hi Carol
Ultimately its your health your choice, but bear this in mind as we 'open' up from lockdown ,six months down the line you might not get the choice.
Ouch, Keezoy, shingles is very painful - I hope you are better very soon!
Yes ive got it all over my head and down my neck. Ive had it for a month and a half and its driving me bonkers. Lots of headaches, severe itching skin and red blotches. Sweet..NOT.
I’ve never had chickenpox or measles as a child but if I were offered a shingles vaccine, I would take it. My mom had Shingles a few years back and she said the pain is excruciating!

I’m so sorry Keezoy. That’s definitely not great! I hope you feel better soon. I believe it takes some time to clear up
