This is going to sound awful .... But I wish when I got married 10 years ago that my husband and I moved away from my Parents (we would have still visited them etc and always done our duty but I don't think it's always too healthy to live very near to your parents). There is a reason for me saying that and it's nothing to do with their health as they were very healthy then. It's a long story but that's what I would have liked to have changed.

Well you could look at it like this, I wear specs (for short sight) and i recently found out that you can get safety specs to your prescription, so now I wear these all the time. If you or I had to wear safety glasses for any reason we'd have to be taking them on and off all the time but being short sighted we don't have to do thisThey look pretty much like normal specs too (Apart from the bits at the sides) I think it's great.
