I ask because on the few occasions I actually use a pen and paper now I am totally horrified at how awful my writing has become. Too much keyboarding methinks!
What about you? have you managed to retain a neat hand?
Only if I use upper case (ie capitals) you are right my long hand has become awful andas you say it's just lack of practice I think, even my signature is looking a bit scraggy and I used to think it was really good
My handwriting has always been terrible and it's very useful to be able to write letters on the PC so people can actually read them
I don't use cheques much these days and now find when I come to fill one in I find it difficult to remember how to do it I am sure this looks very suspicious
Oh yes - cheques. I'm very nervous about writing them now, like you, I'm apprehensive about doing it wrong, omitting something vital (like signature) and have the seller think I'm trying to pull a fast one.
Practice is a useful thing
Mines pretty good providing I slow down and really think about forming the letters. I type at about 80wpm, so writing slowly is a real chore......
..I think that's my problem, my brain works faster that my hand so while I am writing one word my brain has already moved onto the next,so what I am writing comes out as rubbish
