I've never been able to get an avatar from PB without moving the pic from there to my Mac desktop. Maybe it can be done, but I have no idea how. All my PB pics are 320 x 240, but when I pick the Browse and Save options in Edit Avatar it comes up as a thumbnail; I assume the computer resizes it for us. I don't understand it, but it works for me.

I've noticed this too with PB recently, I always try and re-size my pics but for some reason it won't do it any more.
