My neighbour, who I chose not to speak to for many months but have recently seen around for some talks, phoned me yesterday while planes were thundering to and fro at the air show! Gah!!!! It's a total nightmare and a slow process, think it's taken nearly a year to get my daughters' lease done - I think each time there's any contact with the leaseholder they have 2months to consider the paperwork. might not be a problem for you, Jazzi, but I think they were getting very down with it hanging over their heads.Re: Lease extension on flats
Hi cranberry. I do know it can take a year, but apparently if a lease holder starts the ball rolling then the 'clock' stops. And if I'm right, they can pass on the lease extension to a prospective buyer without them having to wait 2 years. I think.
