Veal is the primary meat used in Wiener Schnitzel, but they also use pork as well, depending on the season of the year. I enjoyed both, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy veal.

Re: Veal

I've tried Rice Milk but much prefer Soya milk. We haven't used dairy milk for years!

Oh right, what sort of soya milk to you get Mags. I've tried it a few times but think it must be an acquired taste. I've not tried rice milk yet.

Re: Veal

I always buy Alpro Light as it isn't as rich as the plain Alpro. It didn't take more than a few days for me to get used to the taste, yet Rice milk was definitely a no-no for me!

My grandchilren always have it when they visit and they have never turned their noses up at it!

Yes I do have it on cereal but I have to heat it in the microwave first or it reminds me too much of dairy milk!

Hi Marian,
I use it because I have to but have got quite used to it now.
I use Rice Dream Original Organic which you can get in any supermarket, they also do a, plus Calcium & Vitamins version so you dont miss out.

I think they do a couple of other flavours like chocolate but not certain.
