Denis, I wish I could buy some tools made in England, the stuff that comes direct out of China is crap, the user instructions are a joke, and what really annoys me is that the brother of the man making these things is probably a dog breeder who kills his dogs to make fur coats - It's still happening even 'tho every country in the world is trying to stop it.

I mostly buy Bosch tools now, yes German I know, but so far as I can ascertain 50% of the assembley and 100% of the quality control is done in either UK or Germany (Or in some cases Austria) componants still come from Far East 'tho.

Better than giving it all to the Chinese, don't trust them one bit.

I am sick of the lot of them but I won't refuse to vote after my 'sisters' fought so hard for the right to vote.

Our local Liberal Councillor Tom Wells has been excellent, very pro active making sure our tiny the village is not overlooked. Providing the liberal candidate is not too bad I will consider him.

Me who will I vote for !!! The British National Party..it is the only party that will stop immigration..because of imigration we have to build 3 million houses on our green belt to the detriment of our quality of life and the destruction of our wildlife..they will take us out of the EU...please note there is NO provision in the Lisbon Treaty for any National Parliments so elections next year maybe the last one.. Gorden Brown an unelected Prime Minister has given your country away to Europe...We will have an Unelected by the people President of the EU..the list is endless !!!!!

I agree with you on Gordon Brown TC but I have reservations about the BNP, we could end up losing our democratic rights with them, extremist parties in the past have done this IMO.

Re: What party will you vote for next year ?

I make no mistake for reposting what I put in the Question Time/bnp thread

"What's the saying about those who don't know history being doomed to repeat it?

And how people of our age can't, if not remember, then at least have regard for, the recent past, then heaven help us all. My parents lost their teenage to Hitler and his bnp-alike filth and my dad had his final years haunted by things he had seen and done when actually in service against it.

None of the above says that our tiny island can or should accommodate anyone who wishes to come, but that is another matter."

And, I cannot understand how people who feel compassion to animals, who are helpless and unable to take any steps themselves to improve their lot, cannot at least empathise with the plight of human beings who born into situations we would not inflict on animals.

You are entitled to your view, and entitled to express it. Would that be the case under a bnp regime?

"First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak out for me."

Re: What party will you vote for next year ?

What would you call an extremist party..the British National Party as the name says is a party that is standing up for the indigenous peoples of this island..world population is increasing by 2 million a week acording to the radio a couple of weeks ago..within 30 years as immigration and birth is going at the moment Europe will be a Moslem country..and we will be part of Europe when the Lisbon Treaty is ratified..as I said before we will have an UNELECTED by the people Prsident of the EU..this strikes me as being more of a marxist or communist state..
dont believe what the papers say members of the BNP are just normal people that are fed up with what is happening to there country

I dont wish to affend anyone by my views but I am looking foreward to what is happening in the future , not something that happened 69 years ago when I was a child..I lived thro the last war that is why I am worried about what is happening to our country now and in the future..

I'll repost what I did in the Question Time (with Nick Griffin as guest) thread too

His whole party has latched on to the immigration problem (which isn't only a problem in this country btw) and have used and twisted it to make people (foolishly) think it's a race issue. When it's not.

I agree immigration is messed up. I agree we need better control on the people we allow in, but I would never use race as a criteria, but more their attitudes and beliefs. I don't have issue with anyone of any race coming here (within capped sustainable limits of course) but I do have issue with people coming here not having the slightest inclination to want to integrate with the British people, learn the language, and hold backwards attitudes and beliefs - views that are not acceptable in a modern civilised society.

At the end of the day, they knew what this country was like before coming here - and if they don't like it, and have no intention of integrating, then why bother coming here in the first place!

The BNP is just using people who are frustrated with the immigration issue, people who end up unwittingly giving them support for the wrong reasons.

They're far from 'normal' Tomcat - immigration aside, they're racist, anti-semantic and homophobic bigots for starters, they only just reversed their stance on denying the holocaust and that's only because they want to appease Europe.

If you're fed up with immigration then lobby your normal party - I wouldn't support a nasty party like the BNP who are only interested in using, abusing and duping 'normal' people into unwittingly giving them support for their hidden agendas.
