Re: Over 50s Club Manchester/Cheshire

Good Morning everyone. Jimmy, Sabrina isn't too well at the moment but sure she will help you when better. I cannot help you, as I take the tram from Altrincham or drive to Bury, never use Victoria station.

It was Shaz I was hoping to ask, but she hasn't posted anywhere for a while, I hope she is ok.

The only information I can find online is that the stop will be closed for 9 months from February this year, I was wondering if it had opened yet.
We have decided to go to Bolton instead, that is a pretty good market.

Re: Over 50s Club Manchester/Cheshire

Hello all, another day at sea, but weather sunny and a bit breezy.

Last night the sea got rougher while we were having dinner, so dancing was out of the question, it is hard enough to just walk. They had a new drummer for the orchestra and the star turn for the showtime, they both went off under the weather, so they managed to get the act which was due for tonight to perform instead.

This morning it was calmer but still a bit choppy so we decided to give line dancing a miss, and just went to the games, bean bag boules, beetle drive and killer darts.
At lunchtime they had an October Fest, so decorated dining area and decks in Bavarian style with some Bavarian style foods and beer.
After that we went ballroom dancing as it had calmed down enough by then and now just waiting for this afternoons game of Never say Die. At 5pm have an appointment to have my hair done for last time on board.

Actually I could book another cruise while on board, there is one going to South America in 2016, which I believe is already fully booked!!
Not decided where to cruise next but don't think it will be next year, as we have other plans in the pipeline.

Re: Over 50s Club Manchester/Cheshire

Ah! thanks ladies for your good wishes to Sabrena, I will pass them on. Jimmy she did say you can take the tram certainly from outside Primark or as Myrtle said Piccadilly, alternatively she thinks you may be able to take it from behind Marks & Spencers which would be nearer to Victoria station. Oh nearly forgot she also says market days are on a wednesday, friday and saturday. Hope this helps Jimmy
