Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Raining here, and cold. Had mince & pasta for dinner as its comfort food for us when its dreich like this. Can't believe it was lovely and sunny yesterday, hrmph. Been amused by all the drinkers huddled up under umbrellas, desperate to feel normal again with lunchtime drinks outside in the beer gardens.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Not normal for us BUT, we've been talking with our mates about starting our Saturday Evenings again. Meeting up for dinner at the Ferry Inn then a drink down the village pub. Need decent weather though, but it would be a start on the return to normal for us.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
How I'd love some warm n sunny weather May, those few days last month were wonderful and made a big difference to me. If we get a good W/E weather wise soon then I'll have them all over for Sunday lunch outside. I often do this in the summer, cook the chicken in the oven in the kitchen and make big bowls of salad and cold pasta to go with it along with either coleslaw or potatoes in mayo. I've usually managed at least one Sunday by now...... Blooming Weather.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
