He shot a TERRORIST, who moments earlier was trying to kill them. The guy was already fatally wounded - probably done him a favour and put him out of his misery!

In that situation, would YOU attempt to take a "fatally wounded" terrorist with you and try to get him help according to the GC, compromising your own safety / possibly causing your own death as it's slowing you down? Bearing in mind he was just trying to kill you, along with KNOWING if they had captured you, you'd probably be tortured or killed rather than be afforded the same compassion? - get real!!

Because historically both sides have signed the Geneva convention.

If the enemy ignore such conventions, we should fight them on their own terms. If we do not, they laugh at us with our Queensbury rules whilst they fight dirty.

I completely agree with the others who have said as much.
