Went to a fair in highbury few months back , and was charge £6 just to enter the fair , it's was so pricey the rides

Yes, the prices are insane these days. I would think a visit of a few hours with 2 or 3 kids must end up costing the best part of £100.

I used to like them when I was teen and used to go with a group of friends - hot dogs, candy floss, toffee apples, loud music, smell of diesel motors, flirtatious roustabouts, fortune tellers, hoopla barkers, and sharing a bag of vinegar soaked chips as we walked home later! Those were the days. Couldn't afford to go now even if I wanted to - they have priced themselves out of customers, and there is usually trouble of some sort when the fair is around now.

I just feel for young families nowadays. Costs a fortune for a day out.

It does myra , we toke our grandson to a fair in Hampstead Heath while back , they only went on little kiddy rides , £50 went in no time , lot people just can't aford it ,
