Re: Boy, 5, ‘was beaten to death by Mum’s boyfriend because he lost his shoe’

I don't need any apology. I just find it rather sad when adults behave like spiteful school children, each trying to out/snipe the other. We all have our own opinions on topics, no matter what the topic is. Surely there is no need for anyone to snipe at anyone else.

I was quite surprised to find no mention of drugs.

Such actions as this usually unearths an addiction.

Why would you go to a quiet park at 5-6pm on a bus(x3) and through rush hour traffic?

Quite.
And don't forget the report said it was dark before they got off the bus even.
Like I said many posts back, who takes a 5 year old out on 3 buses, in the dark, to play in the park?
There is more to this story.

Re: Boy, 5, ‘was beaten to death by Mum’s boyfriend because he lost his shoe’

Hi

I have a very simple view of life.

It is our duty, as adults to protect children, irrespective of whether they are our kids or anyone else's.

Any adult who abuses kids are scum and need to be dealt with.

Under normal circumstances not an issue for me, well capable of dealing with scum.

Ill as I am, it is still beholden to us to either deal with it directly or report it immediately.

Worrying about getting a mouthful from the abusers is not an issue.

We are parents, we look after kids.

At the present time I am nowhere near fighting fit.

I would however rather take a kicking than see any child suffer.
