Re: Greetings To All Australians Here.

Hi Aussie, my son Daniel lives near Coogee, Sydney NSW. He is known as 'Stan' to his friends.
If you see him...will you say, ' Hi'!
Thanks!

Welcome to the site!

Thank you Aussie 61, Lovemyboys also gave me the same info. You are going to get on well here because you seem happy to post and will probably become as cheeky as the rest of us when you settle in . We tend to tease each other a lot, but most don't take offence, and that is how to gain friends. I look forward to seeing more of your posts.

I do thank Mr. Floppy for providing me with Muddy's latest and greatest
"(Like most British) I like the quick witty stuff "

But I wonder if she really meant "the quick smutty stuff" ?
After all, let us recognize the real 'Greats' of British comedy ...
Benny Hill, Tony Hancock, Norman Wisdom, The Two Ronnies, Are You Being Served, Steptoe, the Carry On series -and so on.

Then there were (to me) the singularly un-funny Fawlty Towers, Monty Python, Mrs Bucket (?) and the like.
A few glimmers of hope in "Yes Minister" and "the Vicar of Dibley" but the latter went on for far too long.

Australia, of course, has produced subtle and cerebral stuff like Bazza McKenzie, Kevin Bloody Wilson and Dame Edna

Why would you wonder that ?
I am not smutty and as for wit what do you know?
If wit was ****you wouldn't know it if you trod in it.
