I reckon most of us would struggle to do it for 1 day let alone 1 week.
It might be an interesting experiment though, and at least the OH you were trying to communicate with would have to look at you and pay attention instead of half listening with their head in the newspaper and the odd grunt here and there.

I did not suggest we don't communicate. If you read back, I said it would be interesting to try other ways of communicating for a while, in response to Spittie's question about words creating negativity.

Hmmm watching my dogs play bow before setting off on a campaign of being monsters with each other, perhaps that's a possibility as a warning we are just playing no malice intended or when we see a friend wag our tails like mad - Elsie's wag encompasses her entire rear end and looks like the tail wagging the dog ! Not sure I could manage a whole body wag but my tail I am willing to try
