Talking of Muffin the Mule, Annette Mills was the sister of John Mills the famous film star.
But do you remember Mr. Turnip, with Humphrey Lestoq, the programme was called Whirigig.

Mr. Trunip escaped me Arfa...but I loved the kiddies programmes...
My favourite show of all for entertainment was 'Sunday Night at the London Palladium', just love 'variety' acts...
Also, Sunday afternoons with 'Liberace' I would sit cross legged in front of the screen, he always ended with 'I'll be seeing you' and gave me a wink

Yes well, we've certainly travelled a long way from 'Dixon of Dock Green' and "Rawhide' which were two of my faves
