Re: Chinese Coronavirus

A cruise ship, anchored in Yokohama, Japan, has 61 people aboard who have tested positive for the coronavirus. From what the local news said, the entire ship is now quarantined.

Boy, oh boy. I'd sure hate to be trapped on that crowded ship with infected people.

World wide total to date: 638 dead, 31,355 infected.

I heard this news too, Bakerman.
They said the infected people are being taken off to quarantine, but nobody else can leave. They are confined to their cabins except for 1 hr or so outside to get some fresh air.

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

Does anyone know anything about the animals there?

A friend of mine said the other day, that because they are blaming the animal market for the start of all this, they people are being forced to have all their pets killed???
She said it was all over Facebook, but being as I don't do Facebook, I don't know if there is any truth in it?

I check my Facebook regularly and I have not seen anything about animals/pets being killed. At least not yet.

Tragic and ignorant given WHO advice. But they must be desperate to give such orders.

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

Hi

We would do the same, in that we would ban any pets outside the house.

A simple basic precaution.

Any found outside would be destroyed.

Quite !
There's simply no room for sentiment . Clearly the population of the world's health is at risk .
