The gun nuts also seem to be against banning fireworks too.
We have two dogs, one is very frightened when the fireworks start, even 'tho the nearest are about two miles away she can hear them and is pawing the door to come inside, the other dog s not too worried so long as we are around.
Another vote here for 'municipal' displays only

We've had them here since a 6.30 pm start. What happened to the 'normal' display.....like the roman candles, catherine wheels, and odd whistling ones? Now they sound more like you're in the middle of war zone!
