Aw, thank you for a look at this moon, Bruce. Am in North America and won't be seeing any of this. It's a beautiful sight.

Was that on the top left.Someone on the wireless said it was Saturn?Anyway,we had a fantastic view from here.

To the south of the Moon and slightly above it, pretty sure it was Mars, Saturn was below the horizon at 5am here. Mars was showing a bit red during the eclipse too.



That was the first shot I took so you can see the shadow creeping across and Mars upper left. The black stripe across the Moon is a power line

My garden is surrounded by tall trees but l looked out last night for the blood moon.
I saw a very bright yellow light and thought, that isn’t very spectacular!
Then l realised l was looking at a street light amongst the trees! I couldn’t stop laughing!

I then went out into the road and walked down the road a bit looking for the moon. There was no sign of it!!

Flat bust here in Northumberland, however according to chap on talk radio another due in about 6 months time, though not as good as this one.

What is UK like I ask you. Clear skies for weeks and the one night there is a Blood moon the heavens open, thunder bolts and lightening, torrential downpours and cloud thicker than a vaper could produce.

It's a conspiracy that's what it is .
