Re: Christmas - e-Cards or Not?

The only real paper cards we send these days go to people we know don't have computer access, everyone else gets e-cards and I prefer receiving ecards too. Far less waste and sounds funny when we are trying to stop people using useful things like carrier bags to see anyone advocating sending paper through the post that will end up in land fill in the end.

Re: Christmas - e-Cards or Not?

I think eCards are a bit 'tacky', but I can see the benefit in sending them overseas. I've never sent an eCard and I still write letters to people at Xmas. It's "Oor Wullie" cards from us this year. (fellow Scots will understand)

Re: Christmas - e-Cards or Not?

If i do a card its usually something based on one of my photos or drawings very amateur but a tad more personal i feel.

Mind you i know some people recycle their own cards and make things like gift tags etc, some are sold for charity.

Re: Christmas - e-Cards or Not?

At one timre, I made all my own cards---a ,lot of hard work went into them, and most times were not even appreciated. So this yea I will send a few cards, hand deliver a few, but send ecards--save myself some money--and put towards a treat for myself, because I really deserve it this year. !
